1. What we collect
- Account info: name, email, phone, payment method (handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers).
- Health and fitness data you provide: goals, body measurements, training experience, dietary preferences, allergies, medical conditions, injuries, photos.
- Activity data: workouts logged, recipes saved, chat with your coach.
- Wearable data (optional): if you connect a wearable, we receive sleep, HRV, and heart-rate data.
- Device and usage: IP, browser, time-zone, pages visited.
2. How we use it
- To deliver coaching: your assigned coach sees your data to build and adjust your plan.
- To run our AI: anonymized signals improve plan quality across the platform.
- To bill: payment processing and dunning.
- To communicate: trial reminders, plan updates, and account notifications.
- To keep you safe: detect injury risk and flag conditions to your coach.
3. Who sees what
- Your coach: sees your full profile, training, nutrition, and chat to coach you.
- Your gym (if partnered): sees aggregate signals about engagement; never your medical conditions, weight, or chat content.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI inference, anonymized prompts), Cloudflare (video delivery), Supabase (database), Google (transactional email). All bound by data-processing agreements.
- Authorities: only when legally required.
4. AI processing
We use AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) to draft workouts, recipes, and chat responses. We do not send your full name or contact info into AI prompts; we use a token reference. Coaches review AI outputs before approval.
5. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing hi@coachmarkets.com. We respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents have GDPR rights; California residents have CCPA rights.
6. Data retention
We keep account data while your subscription is active and for 12 months after cancellation for billing and legal records, then delete or anonymize. Chat history may be retained longer if you reactivate, to preserve continuity with your coach.
7. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest. Access controls on internal systems. Stripe handles all payment-card data. We do not store payment-card numbers.
8. Children
The Platform is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We will email you at least seven days before any material change to this policy.
